We read the reviews online about this campground and everything seemed lovely. People are saying it's quite with large sites. I'm not sure if we're in the same campground. Ha. We are in site 41 ($44/night) and it's awful!! Tight to your neighbours and right along the road. Right beside the out gates (car trap style) and ow my goodness it's SO noisy. Traffic both directions constantly!! Starting at 7am. Not sure if there are better loops on location but I would never ever stay in this section again, or this campground for that matter. The only reason they got 2 stars and not 1 is because the shower/washrooms are very clean and nice. If you stay here bring your own wood as a bundle is $9.50. Nuts!

We travelled 1.5hrs to camp here and passed probably 40 different campgrounds along the way. Will not be returning.

Always a great time here. Nice sites, trails and quiet. Hard to believe you're only minutes away from the city.

Awesome camp spot for kids with lots of playgrounds. A nice escape very close to the city. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed. It's a very nice campsite. It's just the staff, this older lady, who hopefully isn't the manager because she seems very unprofessional. It was our mistake to have three tents up with our RV on one night, the next day the lady told us to put it down. Which wasn't a problem at all, because it was our mistake, but she kept going on at us and yelling. It was very disrespectful they way she handled it. We weren't even saying anything back or arguing back, we just apologized but she kept counting how many tents there were as if we didn't know how to count. She kept yelling and repeating that this wasn't allowed multiple times as if we it didn't register it in our heads the first time. Even while my brother was taking it down, she still kept repeating how many tents there were, counting as if we were little children. We understand we broke the rules, but we did take it down as soon as we were told. Honestly, there has been other people on the golf cart doing their rounds the day before, but they didn't approach us or said anything. One of them even said hello, and didn't correct us. It is our mistake, but none of the staff corrected us. Take note that we did not even argue back or was rude, but now she has banned us for going for a simple mistake. It's just incredible how one simple mistake means a lifetime ban. I would understand if our family was being disruptive or destructive towards the campsite, or even having a full on argument with the lady..but it was just for accidentally putting up three tents... It just seems more of an irrational action. Our family used to camp here for years, and one simple mistake? Unbelievable. Wouldn't be surprised if it was because of our race, because she did act as if we didn't understand english. She would repeat her words slowly and emphasize how many tents by using her fingers or pointing to each one...So unfortunate.

My favorite camp ground. Low key and well hidden considering town is just up the hill.
